This series of 4 abstract paintings were created in dialogue with my mother’s past creations, bridging the physical distance between us. Through their creation, each piece became a visual memory of our bond, as if the process itself represented a quiet dialogue with her across time and space. The fluid, water-like forms and reflections of light, infused with earthy greens and browns, evoke a sense of calm and grounding in nature.

Akayane Lodge

Two of the 4 pieces have been hung at Akayane Lodge - a newly developed hotel in the Furano area of Hokkaido Japan.
