Caitlin Liu is an artist and designer based in New York.

Her artistic practice is a personal exploration of identity, memory, and place. Through abstract landscapes and investigations of space, she creates room for memories to coexist, intertwining. Her work reflects on how physical and emotional environments shape who we become, finding intimacy and calm in quiet or mundane spaces. At the core of her practice is a reflection on lived experience, guided by a desire to invite others to navigate the complex emotional terrain of belonging and displacement.

    • I See You showcases the talent of printmaking students from Ithaca College and Cornell University, featuring a diverse range of printmaking techniques providing a glimpse into the breadth and depth of the discipline.

    • Final exhibition of the Cornell summer session course combining Intro to Print Media and Advanced Print Media.

    • My teaching assistant position allowed me to guide students on their print projects and assist in curating the final exhibition.

    • Group show with the cohort of AAP students who studied abroad. Held a reception discussed our work with other art and architectural professionals and students.

    • I exhibited 5 works including sculpture, drawings, prints, sketches and 3-dimensional wax paintings.
